Cute little café on the Canal. Easily accommodated our party of 7 on a Friday afternoon. Gondola rides available just outside. The kids loved their pizza - and they can be pizza critics! Those who had sandwiches (chicken parm, meatball, Tuscan Tuna) enjoyed those, as well. A half might not be quite enough without a side or dessert.
One of the best place I’ve eaten at coming to idea I highly recommend and it’s worth the money not the maintain it’s unique spaghetti dish. One of the places that come with a singalong ride on a boat 10/10 homemade pizza make sure to try the Italian soda comes in all flavors just ask.
I love this place. How long has it been here? How many times have I walked by? Why did I never look at their menu? I don’t have the answers to these questions. I sincerely apologize for not coming sooner. The food was fantastic and the staff were super friendly. Prices were reasonable. The location is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio enjoying our food by the canal. Unfortunately people who live in Indianapolis do not see the canal as a destination for food. That needs to change. I wish we had more restaurants along the canal so that people would see it as a dining destination. I think Fresco gets the majority of its business from people who just happen to walk by while walking the canal. I think I may have stopped by sooner if they had a sign right by the canal with their menu on it. I didn’t even know what they sold. I also think the sign at the top of the stairs needs to be bigger too.
It was our first time & we were very impressed. Their friendly service was refreshing! Their food was light & full of flavor. It was approximately $12 a person. They offered us water cups because we didn’t want soda. Clean environment. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.
We had been planning on going here for quite some time so we made it a must do. after a weekend in cincinati ohio we drove back to indy and stopped in. it was the perfect time a sunny sunday eve. the canal was busy swan paddle boats going up and down the canal and the option to get a Venetian Gondola boat ride was interesting. we popped in ordered our food without to much of a wait. was still busy i ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and a cold beer. my wife had the meatball sub and a glass of wine. price was well within reason food was good no fine italian but good. we enjoyed our time sitting outside taking it all in and enjoying our food. we will be doing this again real soon..
Can't believe we've never eaten here before today! Enjoyed lunch on the patio this morning with our two dogs. The flatbreads were amazing!! Their homemade tomato sauce is outstanding. We can't wait to come back and try the other menu items!
Lovely area to walk in and we stopped here for a refresh and snack. The red pepper dip was fantastic and lemonade was fresh. Perfect seating area in the shade to enjoy the weather and canal!
Very small inside area, lovely patio with a dedicated side for our furry members (dogs). Flatbread pizza was pretty darn good. More than I could eat but I don’t think it’s enough for two people. The subs were good. The bread was nothing special, but the meat and cheese and sauce was good. It seemed a little pricey, but maybe that’s because it’s on the canal.
